Been hungry?
Most of us can’t even imagine what it’s like to be truly hungry. Some of us won’t even eat the crusts off our sandwich. But there are Haitian people who have become so desperate as to literally eat dirt just to survive. That needs to change, and by God’s grace, we want to be part of it.

Who are we?
Community Christian School consists of about seventy students from kindergarten to eighth grade. The school is located in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where the students learn about God in their everyday subjects. The students enjoy the small school atmosphere, the awesome teachers, and their great friends here at CCS.

What are we doing?
Fifteen junior high students, at Community Christian School, sat pondering the article in the weekly Christian reader, God’s World. The article vividly described the poverty in Haiti. We were shocked to find that many Haitians resolved to eat mud cookies for a meal. The article described such horrific conditions that the class agreed they must do something. With the help of our Bible teacher, the class built this web site in order to raise funds. The proceeds will be going through World Vision. World Vision is a Christian organization devoted to directly feed the people in poor countries. We chose this ministry because we know the money we raise will be put directly into feeding the Haitians.
Food crisis in Haiti reaches critical point.
How you can help.
Now that you have learned what we are all about and what we are doing, you are probably wondering how you can help. On this website you can give a direct donation or pay for an insane challenge to be performed. You may also pay for helpful service to be done by some of the students in the junior high class.
