The car has been painted, and we’ve raised almost $900 in the process! Take a look…

Most of us can't imagine what it's like to be truly hungry. Some of us won't even eat the crusts off our sandwich. But there are Haitian people who have become so desperate as to literally eat dirt just to survive. That needs to change, and by God's grace, we want to be part of it.

So I was thinking about this, and came up with an idea that you could raise some more donations. Instead of just asking the kids to bring money in, you should have each classroom do a change drive. It would be easier for the students to collect pennies nickels, and dimes, rather than dollars. The classrooms could collect them, and then at the end of each week, the change could be collected, and you could announce which class collected the most change. You could give them suggestions on how to collect spare change, like taking cans and bottles in and such. You might not raise an incredible amount, but it would be another way to help make the younger kids feel like they are getting involved with Feed Haiti. It’s just a suggestion. And amazing job with the car painting. I loved it. Good luck to everyone!
